Life is good. Life is a magnificent gift, not some sort of karmic punishment, nor something we need to transcend.

Yoga can refer to many different teaching of yoga postures, breathing practices, and meditation and relaxation techniques.  I teach Hatha Yoga that is alignment-based asana and draws on the principles of Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness. The tantric traditions recognize that the universe is a tapestry of pulsation. In Shakti-inspired (shakti means feminine energy) practice, we learn how to discover the healing pulsations in the body, how to follow them into the heart, and how the energy we tap into can transform our health and our relationship to ourselves. It is always an invitation, never an obligation… and it’s up to us individually, as well as collectively, to support the realisation of these pathways…

The essence of everything is supreme consciousness, which pulsates with pure goodness.

An intrepid kiwi, Denise has been practicing yoga since 1999. She fell in love with the contemporary wisdom and energetic practices of the tantrikas in 2006 and began to share her love teaching in the USA until 2016, when she moved with hubby and two teens to Melbs.  Denise is deeply grateful to many amazing teachers who she continues to learn from, and sincerely hopes to create space for others to see the beauty and joy in life through yoga.

Denise loves being in nature, exploring new places, meeting new people, expanding boundaries. Excited to be collaborating with others who share the same vision, Denise is delighted to be teaching in Melbourne! Her classes warmly welcome everyone, regardless of experience or ability, however a sense of humor is recommended.
